Lucknow: In its effort to garner support for
the forthcoming Assembly Elections in Uttar Pradesh, Samajwadi
Party on Tuesday started the second round of Samajwadi Kranti Rath
yatra from Telibagh area here.
The yatra, which was flagged of by the SP state president
Akhilesh Yadav, will continue till September 24 and cover over
36 constituencies, SP spokesman Rajendra Chowdhry said.
"The BSP government had made a record of corruption and
instead of paying heed to problems of people, its leaders were
busy in minting money," Yadav said.
The first phase of the yatra, led by Yadav, was flagged
off by senior leader Azam Khan on September 12.
