Lucknow: Monsoon showers lashed some areas in Uttar Pradesh on Thursday.
Light to moderate rainfall and thundershowers occurred at some places in the state during the past 24 hours.
Gaighat received 8 cm rainfall, Bansi 5 cm, Shardanagar, Balrampur, Ballia, Utraulia 3 cm each, Mahrajganj, Regaoli, Nawabganj, Pilibhit and Baheri 2 cm each.
Met office has forcast heavy rainfall in some areas in the next two days.
