Bareilly: A 15-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her friend`s brother in Bahedi area here when she was returning after appearing in an exam, police said on Tuesday.
The incident took place on Monday when the girl took a lift from her friend`s brother Pradeep Kumar, who took her to a secluded place and allegedly raped her.
When the girl resisted the rape bid, she was badly beaten up by him.
Police have registered an FIR against Pradeep.
