Three girls drowned in pond in Muzaffarnagar

Muzaffarnagar: Two sisters were among
three girls who drowned in a pond while they were digging mud
from it at Dagdoli village in Saharanpur district, police said
on Friday.

The mishap occurred yesterday when the victims Shabnam
(14), Shabana (16) and Monhsina (12) were digging mud from the
pond, they said.

The bodies had been recovered from the pond and sent
for post morterm, they said.
