Fatehpur/Ballia: Three persons were killed and four others injured in separate road incidents in Fatehpur and Ballia districts, police said on Wednesday.
In Fatehpur, the accident took place when a SUV overturned near Hanswa outpost in Thariyaon area.
Durga Prasad Srivastava (65) died on the spot, while four other members of his family were injured in the incident.
The mishap occurred when the victims were on their way to Allahabad from Kanpur last evening, they said.
The injured have been admitted to a hospital, where their condition was stated to be stable.
In Ballia, Hakim Ram (42) and Rajesh Yadav (30) were killed when their motorbike was hit by a tempo in Pindahara village in Bansdeeh area yesterday.
