Azamgarh: Two teenage boys were on Tuesday killed when their bicycle was hit by an allegedly speeding truck in Chhatarpur village in Bardah area here, police said.
The boys were on their way to school when a speeding truck hit their bicycle killing them both on the spot, police said.
The victims were identified as Abdullaha (15) and Adnan (16), they said.
Later, irate locals jammed Azamgarh-Allahabad highway demanding compensation for the victim's family.
Police and administration officials reached the spot and pacified the protesting locals, police said.
The bodies have been sent for post mortem, they said.
No arrests have so far been made in this connection, they added.
