UP: One killed, six injured in clash

A clash broke out between 2 families over a relationship involving their son and daughter in which one person was killed in Dhampur area in Bijnore.

Dhampur area, police said on Friday.

Yasin (45), uncle of the girl, was killed on the spot
while six others were injured in the clash that broke out
yesterday at Mohalla Machli Bazar, they said.

Later, agitated locals jammed the highway demanding
arrest of those involved in the act.

Both the families are said to be against the young
couple`s relationship.

An FIR against has been registered against 16 people in
this regard.
