Uttar Pradesh polls: Second SP list next month

Bareilly: The Samajwadi Party, headed by
Mulayam Singh Yadav, will release its second list of
candidates for 2012 Uttar Pradesh assembly elections by next
month.
"The party will announce its second list within 20-25
days and no changes will be carried out in the list announced
earlier," UP SP chief Akhilesh Yadav told agency.

Of 403 seats in the state assembly, the SP had already
announced names of 162 candidates.
Akhilesh said the main focus of the Samajwadi Party
was to oust the Mayawati-led BSP government, which was "mired
in corruption", from power.
