Wife kills husband over illicit affair in UP

Shravasti: A 35-year-old man was allegedly killed by his wife for having an illicit relationship with another woman, police said Wednesday.

The incident took place yesterday when Abid was asleep and his wife Faiha (32) hacked him with an axe in Begum Sarai locality in Ikauna area here, they said.

Later, the accused woman was arrested and she accepted her crime during interrogation, police said.

The woman alleged that her husband had an illicit relationship with another woman, whom he was going to marry soon, they said.
