Dehra Dun: A case has been registered
against the present and former Vice Chancellors of G B Pant
University of Agriculture and Technology, besides five others
for allegedly misappropriating funds of the varsity.
Complying with the order of Uttarakhand High Court,
Udhamsingh Nagar district police registered the case against
varsity VC Prof B S Bist, his predecessor Prof P L Gautam,
former Financial Controller (FC) R C Agrawal, current FC Amita
Joshi and three contractors supplying labourers to the varsity
in Pantnagar police station, said District Senior
Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ajay Rautela.

The case has been registered under IPC sections 467,

Uttarakahnd High Court Chief Justice Barin Ghosh while
hearing a petition of Ranjan Kumar Joshi on April 6 had
ordered the Udhamsingh Nagar district police to register the
case.
