Banbasa (Uttarakhand): An American national was arrested near here while trying to cross over to Nepal on fake visa papers, immigration officials said on Thursday.
Cater Michael Lovel, who was on his way to Nepal, was arrested by the immigration officials on finding his visa papers fake on Tuesday evening, Immigration official G D Joshi said.
Further probes are on into the case, he added.
