Bomb blast leaves woman dead

Suri (WB): A woman was killed when a bomb
kept in a garbage dump went off in Sainthia town in Birbhum
district on Monday.

The blast took place near a Trinamool Congress office in
ward three of the town, police said.
The 60-year-old victim was identified as Bhusani Das.

Soon after the incident, Trinamool Congress and CPI(M)
workers blocked roads in the ward.
Rapid Action Force has been deployed as a precautionary
measure.
