Purulia (WB): Two decomposed bodies
recovered from a jungle in Arsa area of Purulia district
remain unidentified after relatives of an Intelligence Branch
officer and a school teacher, abducted from the Ayodhya hills
here, failed to identify them.

Barnali Biswas, wife of IB officer Partha Biswas, and
Avijit Basu, elder brother of school teacher Soumajit Basu,
visited the morgue of Purulia sadar hospital, but could not
identify the decomposed bodies, Additional Superintendent of
Police C Sudhakaran told reporters.
"Police will now conduct a DNA test to reach a
conclusion," Sudhakarn said.

Police recovered the bodies and a motorcycle from the
area in Purulia district following interrogation of an
arrested Maoist last night.
Since Biswas and Basu were riding a motorcycle before
they went missing, it was suspected to be the bodies of the
two, police said.
