Tanker runs over five labourers in WB

Kalyani(WB): Five labourers died and one
sustained injuries when a tanker ran over them at the
Kalyani-Barrackpur Expressway in Nadia district this morning,
police said.

The labourers were standing near the road, waiting for
transport to work, when the tanker driver allegedly lost
control over the vehicle and ran over them at Buddhapark on
the Expressway at around 5 am, they said.

Four of the labourers died on the spot while one
succumbed to injuries in the hospital, they said, adding,
the wounded labourer has been admitted to hospital.
