Hong Kong: Former physician of North Korea's founder, Kim II Sung, has revealed that that he aspired to live till 100 years of age.

The late North Korean leader, who died at the age of 82, had told doctors to find a treatment which could help him live up till 100 years, according to a CNN news report.

Kim So-Yeon even led a research at a centre which looked for different ways to fulfill the late North Korean leader's wish.

“He wanted to rule as long as he could,” she said, according to the report.

A list of treatments were finalised which included blood transfusions from those in their twenties. The blood transfusion took place after the donors were given special nutritious food before the procedure.

Another treatment included laughing at the antics of children as the centre had researched that happiness leads to good health.

Kim So-Yeon served as the personal physician of Kim II Sung for several years before defecting to South Korea in 1992.

She added that it is possible that the country's current leader, Kim Jong Un, has health issues similar to his grandfather including diabetes and psychological problems
