Police are looking for a man with a gun who witnesses say fired shots at the Chinese Consulate building in downtown Los Angeles.

a gun who witnesses say fired shots at the Chinese Consulate
building in downtown Los Angeles.

Los Angeles police officer Derek Campbell says the
shooting took place around 2:15 pm. local time on Thusday. No
injuries were reported.

Campbell says officers are searching for the shooter,
described by witnesses as a middle-aged Asian man.
It`s not clear how many shots were fired.

A call to the consulate office was not immediately
answered on Thusday.
