Six die after bus plunges into a lake in China

Beijing: Six passengers were killed when a minibus plunged into a river in southwest China`s Sichuan Province today.

The 20-seat minibus veered off the road, broke the guardrail and fell into the river in Yilong County of Nanchong City, police said.

Six passengers died in the accident while the driver was rescued.

The bus was carrying eight passengers.
Search and rescue is still going on as a seventh passenger is missing, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.
