Washington: The White House has reportedly hinted at the possibility of Russia`s role in leaking a phone call between American diplomats on YouTube, following which, US official Victoria Nuland has apologised for saying "f*** the EU" while speaking of Ukraine crisis.
Refusing to comment on the content of the four minute recorded call, White House press secretary Jay Carney said that since the video was first noted and tweeted out by the Russian government, it said something about Russia`s role.

The tapping which took place in late January between Assistant Secretary of State for European Affairs Victoria Nuland and US ambassador to Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt, was posted on YouTube on Tuesday, the Politico reported.
Meanwhile, Carney kept mum about the conversation of the call and did not come forward with any details of possible precautions being exercised to ensure that American diplomats spoke to each other on secure telephone lines.
