Pledging to weed out corruption if returned to power, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Friday sought the cooperation of the people for information on corrupt public servants.

Bagha: Pledging to weed out corruption if returned to power, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Friday sought the cooperation of the people for information on corrupt public servants.
``We will keep the names of the informants secret and
open schools in the houses of those found corrupt,`` he said
at an election meeting here.

Kumar said his government had enacted a legislation to
put the corrupt public servants behind bars and asked the
people to return NDA to power with a bigger mandate so that
the unfinished development programmes could be taken up.

He charged the Centre with adopting a discriminatory
policy towards Bihar.
Attacking the previous governments of Bihar, he said the
state had been pushed back during the 40-year rule of Congress
and 15-year rule of the RJd.

``We have put the state back on tracks,`` he said.
