Six Naxals, including two women, arrested in Chhattisgarh

Six Naxals, including two women, were arrested from Rajnandgaon and Kanker districts of Chhattisgarh on Friday, police said.

were arrested from Rajnandgaon and Kanker districts of
Chhattisgarh on Friday, police said.
Four Naxals carrying rewards on their heads and two women
were arrested from Rajnandgaon and Kanker respectively, senior
police officials told PTI.

The four Naxals, identified as Jangu, Suruj, Lalsai and
Kunwar Sinh, were arrested from Mehka and Kunjkanhar villages
of Rajnandgaon following a tip off while two women Naxals were
held from Gudsel village of Kanker district, they said.
The four arrested Naxals face the charges of setting
afire a forest department office, murder and attempt to murder
along with other charges, they said.

Arms and ammunition were also seized from the arrested
Naxals, police officials said.
