New Delhi: Delhiites need to buckle up for hot and humid days ahead, the weather office warned Monday with no rains expected and the next two days likely to be very hot.

The maximum temperature will hover around 39 degrees Celsius and minimum around 26.2 degree Celsius, the weather department predicted.

"There would be partly cloudy sky which will become clear sky during the course of day. There is no prediction of rain," said an Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) official.

According to the weather official, the humidity level is high around 40 percent.
Delhiites witnessed a humid day Saturday as well with the mercury hovering around 38 degrees Celsius.
