Goa cops refuse to comment on drug nexus probe
Goa police today refused to comment on the investigations in the drug nexus case in which several policemen were arrested for having their links with drug peddler.

comment on the investigations in the drug nexus case in which
several policemen were arrested for having their links with
Director General of Police (DGP) Bhimsen Bassi today
said that the police will not brief media on the case as they
are not obliged to give running commentary of the
"You don`t understand. I am not obliged to give you a
running commentary of the investigation being carried out,"
Bassi told reporters at his chamber this morning.
The case is current in news after Congress` frontal
students organization and BJP launched campaign demanding
handing over of the case to CBI.
Bassi said that police were investigating the nexus
from all angles.
When asked whether state home minister Ravi Naik`s son
Roy is involved in the case, the DGP said that investigating
officer will not give running commentary of the investigation.
Lucky Farmhouse, Swedish model, had exposed the nexus
after she uploaded the video shot on spy camera which showed
her boyfriend, Israeli drug dealer, Yaniv Benaim alias Atala,
bragging about his links with the police.
She had also claimed that Roy was visiting their place
in Goa. Roy had flatly denied the charges claiming that he
never met Atala.
