Four killed in truck-bus collision in Anand

Four persons were killed and ten others injured when a bus in which they were travelling collided with a truck on the Ahmedabad-Vadodara Express highway, police said.

travelling collided with a truck on the Ahmedabad-Vadodara
Express highway, police said.

The incident occurred near Boriyavi village on the
Express Highway, about five kilometres from here, when the
bus, on its way to Surat, collided with the truck coming from
the wrong side, they said.

Following this, another car from the rear also rammed
into the bus. Three bus occupants and the truck driver died on
the spot. The injured have been admitted to the government
hospital here, police said.

The deceased have been identified as Sanket Patil,
Jagdish Akhiyani, and Butasingh Dhannasingh. A case has been
registered and further investigation in the matter was on.
