Srinagar: Even as most educational
institutions are closed in the Kashmir Valley for the past 75 days in view of the ongoing unrest, Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education Wednesday announced its annual examination
schedule.
As per the notification issued by the Director Academics
of the Board, the class 10th examination will be held in
second week of October, while class 12th will take place from
4th week of October in Kashmir division.
The schedule of examination was issued so that the
children can plan their schedule of competitive exams
accordingly.
Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education on August 16
ruled out mass promotion of students and said that the annual
examinations for class 10th and 12th of Kashmir Division will
be held on time.
