Jammu: A minor girl was allegedly raped by her father while in another incident a teenaged girl was kidnapped and raped by a youth on the outskirts of the city, police said on Friday.
The three-year-old girl was raped by her father Sunil Kumar last evening in RS Pura border area of the city, they said.
Later, the victim informed the matter to her mother, who lodged a case against Kumar, police said, adding that the girl was admitted to Gandhi Nagar hospital in a serious condition.
In a separate incident, a teenaged girl was abducted and raped by Parvez in Gharota area yesterday, police said.
The victim was later recovered from the bus stand area of Gharota.
A manhunt has been launched to apprehend the absconding accused, they said.
Further probes are on in both the cases, police added.
