Jammu: With PDP, BJP and JKNPP likely to launch a scathing attack on the Omar Abdullah government in the coming budget session, the Legislature Party of the ruling National Conference will meet here on February 25 to chalk out its strategy.

The NC Legislature Party would meet on February 25 to finalise its strategy for the session beginning February 28, a party spokesman said.

The party held its Central Working Committee meeting, chaired by its president and Union Minister Farooq Abdullah, here yesterday.

The session is likely to be a stormy one with PDP, BJP, Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party and other opposition parties likely to slam the government on various issues like civilian killings, governance and development.

The Working Committee also discussed various issues pertaining to functioning of the party including strengthening of its rank and file.
