Jammu: Main opposition Peoples Democratic Party Wednesday accused the ruling Omar Abdullah government of failing to address the economic and political aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir and said the chief minister has "spoiled the conducive atmosphere" of the state.
"Omar government has spoiled the conducive atmosphere created by the previous Congress-PDP coalition government. His government has also failed to address economic as well as political aspirations of the people of the state," former Minister and PDP leader Abdul Rehman Veeri said at a public meeting in Surankote belt of Poonch district Wednesday.
Veeri said there is a need to respect democratic urges of the people, to remove alienation and alleged that the current government had failed to assess the ground situation.
