Tezpur (Assam): Two NDFB women cadre were
apprehended by security forces in Assam`s Sonitpur district
on Saturday.
The two women activists were held during a joint
operation by police and troops of 5/1 Gorkha Regiment at Sopai
Rowmari area under Dhekiajuli police station, police said.
The cadre, who allegedly received arms training in
Bangladesh, have been identified as 20-year old Anjali
Basumatari alias Anji and 19-year Raidosri, police said.
Several documents were found in their possession.

Nath said police had received information that the outfit
pushed in women cadre, trained in Bangladesh, into the
state to carry out subversive activities.
