Punjab CM, however, expressed hope that Pakistan would be steered out of the prevailing problems.

Lahore: Pakistan, which was created in the name of Islam, has become a den of corruption, swindling, injustice and the ‘Qabza mafia’, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said.

Addressing lawyers of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Shahbaz said the country was facing a difficult situation in the real sense.

“The country is facing economic, internal and external problems,” The News quoted him, as saying.

Shahbaz, however, expressed hope that the country would be steered out of the prevailing problems and taken back on the road to progress and prosperity.

“We will have to jointly save the country from dacoits, thieves and looters,” he said.

Talking about the October 28 rally, Shahbaz said it would not be a political rally, adding that its objective was to establish a new system based on hard work, trust, justice, survival and existence of Pakistan.
