West Bengal: Fire at shoe shop, none injured

A fire was reported from a shoe shop in Thakurpukur area on the southern fringes of Kolkata, police said.

Kolkata: A fire was on Sunday reported from a
shoe shop in Thakurpukur area on the southern fringes of the
city, police said.

After six fire brigade engines were called in, flames
from the two-storied building could be controlled.

However, no injuries or casualties were reported,
police said adding that the extent of damage at the shop was
yet to be ascertained.
