Al Qaeda suspect arrested in Germany
A 24-year-old Syrian citizen accused of recruiting members for al Qaeda has been arrested in Germany.

of recruiting members for al Qaeda has been arrested in
Federal prosecutors say the suspect has been accused of
recruiting supporters since September 2007 by spreading
propaganda material on Internet forums.
The man, only identified as Hussam S, was arrested Sunday
in the southwestern town of Montabaur.
He is also accused of having created and administrated a
German-language Internet forum in February 2009 which
published video, audio and text messages trying to recruit
supporters of jihad.
Prosecutors said today the suspect allegedly put 100
postings of propaganda material online.
