How a rock band singer became ISIS militant threatening to behead Christians

London: A mother-of-two who once was with an all-girls rock band is believed to joined the Islamic State in Syria and now is threatening to behead Christians with blunt knife.

Revealed by the investigators that the Muslim convert who calls herself Umm Hussain al-Britani on micro-blogging website Twitter might be Sally Jones from Chatham in Kent.

Umm Hussain had previously claimed that she had married a British computer hacker who later turned jihadi, Junaid Hussain, after romancing with him online. The pair later travelled to Syria separately to join the militant group

Her husband, after joining the Islamic State, became a potential suspect in the beheading of the American journalist James Foley.

On August 10, Umm Hussain had tweeted that she along with her husband made it to the Islamic State after being stuck in Idlib for seven months, and are now living in 'Khalifa' (Caliphate).

In an another tweet which has been deleted since, she warned, “You Christians all need beheading with a nice blunt knife and stuck on the railings at Raqqa ... Come here I'll do it for you!”

After a probe was carried out into the online activities of Umm Hussain it linked her to an address in the Medway town.

When the neighbours were shown pictures used in the online account of Umm Hussain they identified her as the woman who had two children and moved out five years ago.

A footage was also discovered on YouTube showing Sally, who the investigators believe is converted Muslim Umm Hussain, as front member of a rock band.

One of her neighbour described her as unemployed and who loved cats. Interestingly, one of the only five Twitter handles that Umm Hussain follows is about cats in in the Islamic State and another related to the pets. Her husband is originally from Birmingham and tweets behind the alias Abu Hussain al-Britani.
