Beijing: In yet another such incident, a man
in China went on a killing spree stabbing eight people to
death, including three of his family members, the state news
agency Xinhua said on Sunday.
The suspect Zhou Yezhong allegedly killed his mother,
wife, daughter, four neighbours and a migrant worker with a
knife last evening in Jishui County, Jiangxi Province in
southeast China.
Yezhong was arrested within two hours of the stabbings,
the agency said. The reason behind attack is still unclear.
The country has witnessed a number of similar incidents
in recent months with the most gruesome of all being a teacher
breaking into a primary school on April 28 in Leizhou city in
Guangdong province to stab 18 students and one of his
colleagues.
